Overall, the U.S. elevator and moving stairway output pursued a mild growth from 2007 to 2015. The total output figures increased at an average annual rate of +0.7%. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticable fluctuations throughout the analyzed period. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015, when the output figure increased by +19% from the previous year level. In that year, the value of shipments of elevator and moving stairway in the United States reached its maximum level and is likely to continue its growth in the immediate term.

Elevators and moving stairways was the major product category in the U.S. elevator and moving stairway manufacturing, with a share in total output standing near 83% in 2015.
