Ungerboeck Systems International has released a new version of its Event Business Management Software (EBMS)

Karlsruhe, 31/03/2009. The main focus of the event business management software specialist Ungerboeck Systems International newly released software version 18.1 lies in increased productivity and efficiency for its customers. The new release contains an extensive optimization of individual functionalities as well as further innovations, such as, extended management reports and customer-specific websites with dynamic content. Users benefit from productivity increases in combination with cost reductions due to over 200 system enhancements –in today’s economy, two especially important factors.

“We’d like to provide USI customers with the management tools and actionable information needed to make strategic decisions even in the current economic climate”, explains General Manager ppa. EMEA, Thorsten Kolbinger. That is the reason why EBMS 18.1 includes several management-information-enhancements, for example, increased marketing campaign reporting. All tasks, such as, diary entries, events or registration, are directly connected to the respective campaign. Now you can easily report on the overall impact of a particular project through activity and summary reports. Furthermore, the “Service Order and Registration Pace Analysis” reports enhance your ability to evaluate and manage the progress of current event sales as compared to a benchmark event. By including points of reference in the Pace Report, you are able to identify correlations between various marketing efforts so that you can proactively improve. On the iEBMS-level, the new tool EZWriter Page Builder also allows customers to create custom web page reporting using any information stored in EBMS.

“Altogether we have expanded our online functionalities”, reports General Manager ppa. EMEA Thorsten Kolbinger. These changes were necessary in order to increase user productivity and to simultaneously improve the everyday usability of the system. Features, such as, “Enhanced Lead Distribution,” which gives business partners additional capabilities to respond to sales leads captured through the website or new functionalities in the attendee management functionality, which allows attendees to create their individual agenda online, save time on the organizer’s side and provide attendees as well as business partners more flexibility.

“In EBMS 18.1 we have also taken important steps to plan and prepare the evolution of EBMS to browser based technology”, adds Thorsten Kolbinger, revealing the further development of the software suite. Version 19.1, which is scheduled for autumn 2009, will provide browser-based functionalities.
