Inkcups Now Corp. Expands the Line of Laser Engravable Plates for Pad Printing to Accommodate Any CO2 or YAG Laser Etcher
After a year of research and development, Inkcups Now Corporation is proud to release three new types of Laser Engravable Plates (cliches) for pad printing: AccuLaze plates for CO2 or YAG lasers, Cobalt Ultra and Cobalt Steel Back for YAG lasers. With these new cliches, ICN offers the most comprehensive line of pad printing plates in the industry. In total, ICN manufactures five different laser plate materials specifically designed to be used with a CO2 or YAG laser etching systems and capable of handling the full spectrum of graphics, from fine to bold images.The new AccuLaze pad printing cliche is a double sided material with steel center and the fixed depth of 0.00085”, which enables quick production setup on any CO2 or YAG laser etcher. The complete line of YAG laser engravable plates includes the 0.012” thick double-sided Standard Cobalt plates suitable for the majority of pad printing applications, the thicker Cobalt Ultra plates with approved resistance to damage and longer life expectancy, and the single-sided Cobalt Steel Back plate ideal for use with magnetic ink cups. To be used with nearly all CO2 lasers, the newly improved Imperial pad printing plates provide the user with improved surface finish and exceptional reproducibility of dot pattern for standard and bold graphics.
With two patents pending, Inkcups Now manufactures its laser engravable plates with unique features designed for varying applications and machine types. These competitively priced pad printing cliches can run on Inkcups Now lasers as well as many industry standard laser engraving systems.
