ISO 9001:2000 Certification for SGS Nigeria

ISO 9001 is a worldwide established quality framework that sets the standard for management systems in general, and for quality management systems in particular.
ISO 9001:2000 (http://www.sgs.com/iso_9001_2000.htm) specifies the basic requirements for a Quality Management System (QMS) which a company must fulfil to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that enhance customer satisfaction and meet applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
On July 17, 2009, SGS Nigeria (http://www.ng.sgs.com), a member of the SGS Group, achieved certification for ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System demonstrating their commitment to improve product quality, services, and overall customer satisfaction. The ISO 9001:2000 certificate is valid for a period of three years. This certification, granted by the Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON) was issued after an extensive auditing of the processes and services of SGS Nigeria.
