The basis of the M100 is a stereo amplifier with the highest sound quality, invisibly embedded in an elegant, timeless design. In addition, the HDMI video output also transmits the picture signal in HD resolution with 1080 lines per image. An FM radio is integrated as standard along with 2 further analogue and 4 digital audio inputs. Gold-plated speaker connections on the rear of the unit underline the high audiophile claims of the M100. The spatial sound behaviour of the M100 can be optimally adapted in combination with Revox speakers. An integrated signal processor takes both the positioning and the speaker type into account.

With is characteristic black-glass front, the M100 has an elegant and high-quality look. The operating elements light up once you are standing just a few centimetres in front of it. It is operated by touch or remote control and the user-guidance is simple and intuitive. Using a Revox app, control is possible through an iPhone. The compact unit is encased in a robust, solid aluminium housing with customised cladding options. On their website, under www.revox.de, Revox offers a special online configurator where you can design your own, personal audio system. You can choose between elegant metallic colours, leather looks, a wooden or even a gold leaf surface. After making your choice of cladding, you can then combine the individual components as you want. More than 150 different installation variations are possible: as a tower, in a row or as a symmetrical or asymmetrical block. Optionally, the rear of the unit can be closed with a black glass plate, concealing the cabling and allowing you to position the equipment anywhere in the room.

The M100 can even be used as a central unit for small and mid-sized Multiroom systems. Using the corresponding module you can control either one or four independent listening zones. A maximum of 8 rooms can be supplied with music in each listening zone. In combination with the M10 or M51, the M100 can also be a component of a large Multiroom installation and be used as an audiophile side room amplifier. Again, the concept of starting small and then growing over time as your living situation changes without having to buy all new equipment, represents a major advantage.

The optional Revox Multimedia module integrates Internet radio into the system and gives access to over 10,000 radio stations around the world and zig million podcasts. The module also enables the use of external music storage such as an iPod or NAS or an existing iTunes music archive. It is also possible to dock a second FM tuner but this is only of benefit in combination with multiple listening zones. Finally, using the Server module, the M37 Audio Server can be integrated, with its personalised music archive.
