Premise Corporation, Leading Hospital Software Company, Recognized for Outstanding Growth Over Past Five Years by Deloitte's Technology Fast 500Farmington, CT, (October 25, 2007) - Premise Corporation, a leading provider of software solutions to optimize patient flow, has been ranked Number 71 in Deloitte's 2007 Technology Fast 500, a ranking of the fastest growing technology companies in North America. Rankings are based on percentage of fiscal year revenue growth over five years, from 2002 to 2006. Premise's growth rate of 2,265% was remarkable, and attributable to strong product and service differentiation, a premier client base of thought-leading hospitals, and the expansion of products available to serve a rapidly growing market.
"We appreciate Deloitte's recognition of our unprecedented growth, which reflects the hard work and dedication of every member of the Premise team, as well as validation for the many great hospitals and health systems that have chosen to partner with us," stated Premise Corporation Chief Executive Officer Eric Rosow. "It's also nice to be in ranked with such good neighbors," said Mr. Rosow, making reference to being ranked just behind number 70 Google, which had a growth rate of 2,313% over the same period.
"Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 recognizes technology companies who have achieved extraordinary growth in North America's most innovative and competitive sectors," says Phil Asmundson, vice chairman, U.S. Technology, Media and Telecommunications, Deloitte & Touche USA LLP. "We congratulate Premise Corporation on this significant accomplishment."
This is Premise Corporation's first year placing in Deloitte's nationwide Technology Fast 500, and the second time in three years it has appeared in the top ten in Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 program for Connecticut.
The Fast 500 ranks the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies in North America. It is compiled from Deloitte's 16 regional North American Fast 50 programs, nominations submitted directly to the Fast 500, and public company database research.
