Charleston's First Distillery is first to receive PA Limited Distillery License

The news follows the locally iconic Pig's plans to get more of its products into prominent spaces, since being granted National Women's Business Enterprise Certification, in order to not only bolster recognition of the award-winning Striped Pig portfolio in other parts of the country, but also that of Charleston's growing craft distilling scene.

SPD CEO Pixie Paula Dezzutti worked through the license acquisition process with Attorney's Louis and Charles Caputo in partnership with The Caputo Law Firm, a Third Generation Law Firm which specializes in Beverage Alcohol Law. SPD having a limited distillery in Pennsylvania presents game changing opportunities, including the immediate direct sale of SPD spirits to the residences and Licensees in PA. In addition to selling its fan favorite lineup of spirits, SPD will look to roll out its Bourbon Barrel Select Program.
