Hope AMC Is Hosting a 3-Day PROMPT Training Workshop for Speech-Language Professionals in August

Dubai, UAE, July 07, 2025- Hope Abilitation Medical Center (Hope AMC) is pleased to announce its upcoming Introduction to PROMPT: Technique workshop, scheduled to take place from August 7 to August 9, 2025, running daily from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This intensive three-day course provides speech-language pathologists and clinicians with specialized, hands-on training in the PROMPT (https://www.hope-amc.com/event/take-your-practice-to-the-next-level-by-integrating-prompt-therapy/)(Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets) method- a dynamic and evidence-based approach to motor speech therapy.
Led by Karien Marais, a certified PROMPT Instructor with extensive clinical experience, the workshop focuses exclusively on PROMPT techniques and empowers participants to implement the method immediately in their practice. After the sessions are completed, participants will be able to apply the four levels of PROMPTing- Parameter, Surface, Complex, and Syllable to support their clients' articulatory development.

Designed around a holistic framework, the course emphasizes understanding the physical-sensory domain of speech production and treating the child as a whole. Clinicians will gain the skills to analyze motor speech subsystems using Systems Analysis Observation and the Motor Speech Hierarchy, as well as design therapy sessions rooted in interactive case studies and real-world applications.

Participants will walk away with:

A deep understanding of PROMPT's philosophy and clinical application
The ability to apply prompting techniques in various cases
Tools for designing effective, interactive therapy activities

To receive certification, all attendees must complete the full three-day workshop. Partial credit will not be issued. The registration fee is non-refundable, and coupon codes must be applied at the time of registration.
