Ultralingua Language Forums are Here!

Nov. 18, 2008, Minneapolis, MN, Ultralingua announced today the release of its new online language forums.

Long known for its rich offerings in multilingual dictionaries, Ultralingua has taken another leadership step in online language resources. The new Language Forums (available at www.ultralingua.com/forums/) provide both language learners and experts with a place to exchange information about definitions, translations, word histories, and more.

The Forums are free and simple to use. Each language has its own heading where users can post and view inquiries about vocabulary and usage. Everyone can view the forums, but only registered users can post questions and comments.

The goal of the Online Forums is to create a community of language learners where information can be exchanged freely and quickly. Because the forums are searchable, each new thread adds to the knowledge base and may be accessed months later by different users with the same question.

Additionally, a Word-of-the-Week forum gives an in-depth study of a word in English, often chosen for its relevance in the recent media.

The Forums have completed their testing phase, and Ultralingua expects to add hundreds of community members over the coming months.

The Online Dictionary Service by Ultralingua is found under the “Forums” heading of the Ultralingua website (www.ultralingua.com). Subscriptions begin at $29.95.
